from Brendan O’Donnell Lifford AC is delighted to announce the launch of its New Year 3 Race Series which will take place again in January/February 2013. Last year’s inaugural series was an outstanding success, with over 300 athletes battling it out over 3 races at 3 different venues for the overall category prizes.
Building on the success of last year’s series, the club has added a number of new race categories for 2013, and has also added a 1 mile juvenile race at each of the venues. Yet again, there will be a prize fund of over €1,000 on offer, with race entry costing only €5 per race, or €3 for juvenile races. Each course will be Athletics Ireland permitted, be accurately measured, will have toilets,showers and changing facilities, and after race refreshments served each day.
The club is delighted to welcome Daly’s XL Supermarket, Lifford on board as race partners for the series. The Daly family have been long standing supporters of the club and sport in general dating back many years and we are delighted to have them as partners for this series.
Registration
Pre race registration has become the norm for all races organised by the Lifford Club. A registration of interest facilitates the fast tracking of number collection on the day and also allows athletes to receive notifications, course maps, and any other relevant information in advance of race day.
