With great pleasure, the organising committee wishes to announce “Burren Charity Challenge 2012”. This is the main annual charity event organised by Burren Cycling Club. Please note: This charity event has zero administration costs with all money raised going to charities below. (This is only possible as a result of huge volunteer support and sponsorship by key groups and individuals listed at the bottom of this email) This years event will take place at 1.00pm on Saturday 29th December 2012 in Ballyvaughan, Co Clare (registration from 11am in Monks Pub and restaurant) Full details on the Burren Cycling Club webpage: https://www.burrencyclingclub.com/ There will be a free T-Shirt for all participants and prizes for the top 3 in each category. Registration is €20 per adult and €10 for children. There will be free soup and sandwiches in Monks`s Pub and Restaurant afterwards. As was the case last year participants can chose an event(s) that best suits their fitness and ability from: • 10km Walk/Run • 40km Cycle • Duathlon option (40km cycle followed by 5k run). All the family are welcome and if nothing else, the soup and scones afterwards will feed the whole family! This years charity is the Irish Cave Rescue Organisation who do sterling work saving lives in the many Irish cave systems which are being increasingly explored. We look forward to seeing you on the day for what hopefully will be a great day out for some very worthy causes! Very best wishes, ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬__________________ The Organising Committee Liam Glynn Paddy Fahy Patrick O Donoghue Fergus Glynn liam.glynn@nuigalway.ie
