The Annual Cos Cos Festival 8K run and walk take place on Tuesday, May 2nd 2017 in Rathcormac Village in North Sligo.
The course is an interesting one with a mix of flat sections and a few hills, all in the shadow of the majestic Benbulben mountain. Suits beginners as well as those more seasoned runners/walkers.
Registrations, parking, toilets, race start and race finish are at Rathcormac National School. Entry costs €10 and registrations are ‘on the day’ only and open at 5:30pm in the school hall. The Walkers are off at 6:30pm while the Runners start at 7pm. Manual timings. Cash prizes up for grabs in various categories including Men, Women, Junior and Veterans. Prize giving and post-event refreshments will be held in the school afterwards. All very welcome!
