Why not come and join the fun, while helping to raise much needed funds for two worthwhile causes, The Daughters of Charity Special Needs Centre and The Clarisford Sports Grounds Project. Anyone can participate, from the speediest hill runner to the casual walker and everything in between. It all takes place over two days in the scenic twin towns of Killaloe/Ballina, which is nestled between the 3 peaks of Tountinna (Arra Mountains), Keeper Hill (Silvermines Mountains) and Moylussa (Sliabh Bearnagh) on the shores of Lough Derg. The routes vary in length from 8k, 10k and 14k and you can choose to do 1, 2 or all 3 of these events. You are assured of a challenging romp up these peaks but will be rewarded with views to die for. Saturday presents the biggest challenge for those who are up for it, with two climbs on the same day, one in the morning and the second one at night, where you can pick out the twinkling lights of towns and cities over 3 counties. Be aware, head/hand torch and high viz are compulsory on the night event. The routes will all be way marked and marshalled. After race refreshments in a welcoming atmosphere. Moylussa has plenty of parking on site (Two mile gate on the Scarriff road R463). but because Tountinna and Keeper hill have restrictions, car pooling is necessary.
Tountinna will be car pooled from registration at Ballina GAA pitch R494.
Keeper hill will be car pooled from the Swimming Pool car park in Ballina.
8am – 9am Registration for Moylussa at Two Mile Gate carpark (opposite the start)
5pm – 6pm Registration for Tountinna at Ballina GAA grounds
9am – 10am Registration for Keeper Hill at Doonane carpark, Toor
