The Inaugural Golden Sands 5k Fun Run and Family Day with take place August 26th at 1pm on the stunning sands of Bettystown Beach Co. Meath. This will be a family day of which the Fun Run is the central theme, there will be a kids fun run which will take place at 12pm prior to the 5k event. There will be live music and entertainment on the beach to give the event a festival feeling. Donacarney Celtic along with Integral Fitness & Leisure have been working closely with Meath County Council in providing the appropriate conditions for the occasion, which is fully insured and will be run in conjunction with Precision Timing. This will be a chipped event with finish line gantry and finisher’s medals for all participants. Entry fee for the event is €10 for adults, €5 for children and a family entry of €25 for 2 adults and 2 children. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings in male, female and spot prizes on the day.
