St Patricks Day 10k This unique island walk/run is now in its eighth year attracting hundreds of participants annually which includes top athletes from all over the country.
There are two routes to choose from which cater for both Novice and Senior interests. This event affords an opportunity to raise much needed funds for the islands secondary school Coláiste Naomh Eoin, ensuring both the continued development and viability of this independent island community.
This year, why not make a weekend of it? St. Patrick’s Day is the only day of the year (and indeed the only place) where you can experience the game of ‘Cead’, a traditional sport unique to the island which really has to be seen to be understood. Celebrate with the winning team in the pub afterwards as the evening’s
festivities get underway!
But the fun doesn’t stop there! That night, join in the fancy dress party as our local ‘DJ WILLIE in the Mix’ keeps us boogying until the small hours of the morning.
