This is the first ever Cummer NS 5k family run which will take place on Sunday the 25th of September at 2:00p.m. Cummer NS is in the parish of Corofin and we have a beautiful, quiet, scenic route on our doorstep.It will be a really enjoyable event and a great opportunity to raise money for the school.
We encourage all runners, joggers and walkers to take part in this flat 5k loop that will start and finish at the school. There will also be a mini fun run for all the children at 12:30 p.m.
The course has been officially measured by Athletics Ireland. Chip timing will be provided by redtagtiming.com
Registration will take place on the morning of the race in the school hall from 11:00- 1:30. Entry is €10 per adult, €5 per child or €20 per family to walk.
Refreshments will be provided after the race for all the participants. Water and fruit will be available at the finish line and a wonderful spread of sandwiches and treats with tea/coffee in the school hall.
Prize giving will also take place in the hall for first senior male, senior female and first male and female in age categories o40, o50 and o60.
It is guaranteed to be a great day out!
