The 4th Annual Dublin 7 Educate Together National School D7K & 3K Family Fun Run takes place in the Phoenix Park on Sunday 22nd May 2016. This is the school’s main fundraising event and all proceeds from this will go to the school. It is an important event for us for so many reasons but primarily the event is to gather the community together in an environment that supports health, fitness and well-being. Which is why we put so much emphasis on the inclusion of children in the event.
The 7km route follows an outer ring along the path of the notorious Khyber Road, up a steep hill towards the Magazine Fort, then back along the cycle path to the finish. This course is not for the faint hearted, so if you are a seasoned 5km runner who fancies a challenge then this race is for you.
The 3km route is much more gentle and follows the cycle path around the 15 Acres. This is a perfect route for runners, joggers, walkers, novice/beginners, young adults and children.
