Nicky was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 27 and whilst going through treatment, the idea of holding a fun run to raise awareness and funds for cancer research was born.
The First Double D4 Fun Run was a huge success and was run in 2012 raising over €30K and again in 2014 raising over €20k. We are hosting the run a third time to try and make it bigger and better than before.
We have chosen a very worthy charity to benefit from the race, the Cancer Clinical Research Trust (CCRT).
OSG Ltd will be hosting the event covering all costs of the run, which means all moneys raised will go directly to the charity involved.
This will be a great event whether you’re running enthusiast, beginner or walker.
After the run, The DD4 BBQ, hosted by OSG will take place in Merrion Hall, the cost of this is €10 for food and a drink, with all proceeds again going directly to the charities.
