The 2nd Annual Lynch’s VIVO Drumragh10K Road Race and 5K Fun Run/Walk, takes place from the new Drumragh GAA complex at Clanabogan on Saturday 24th September at 12 noon. Champion athlete Stevie Duncan has played a key role in selecting the fantastic 10k route which passes through his home territory and includes the roads on which he trains for competitive action. Not surprisingly, he was first home at last year’s race with a time of 31:53 The route will appeal to and challenge runners of all abilities and is a fantastic addition to the local road run calendar. This year’s race has been included as part of NI Athletics’ Run West Series which includes 9 other local 10k & 5mile Road Races, and will follow the same route of last year’s run, beginning and ending at the Drumragh G.A.C Clubrooms in Clanabogan. Again proceeds will go to Club Drumragh and the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children.
