Looking for a challenge or a great day out? With less than 4 weeks to go, the countdown has begun for the annual Clifden Lifeboat 10k, which will take place on Sunday 11th september 2011.
The 2pm start, will take the participants up the Sky Road, which has been billed as one of the most scenic areas in connemara. While this race is organised as a fundraiser for the Clifden Lifeboat, sponsorship is not compulsory and organisers are inviting anyone interested in taking part to register.
Participants can enter individually or as a team, so why not gather a few friends or colleagues and race against each other? A fun and friendly atmosphere is guaranteed. Entry fee is €10 for individuals or €25 for teams.
