5KM FUN HAT RUN ABC…123 FOR LITERACY – Run for Literacy Awareness in Wicklow
If you are reading this then you are one of the truly fortunate…why?… Because you have access to knowledge and information… You can access information with ease. Now imagine how difficult life would be for you if you could not do this because you have difficulty reading and writing!
Help establish a Literacy Awareness Campaign which sets out to encourage everyone who is literate to offer 1 hour a week to help someone who is struggling to read, write or do basic maths.

Registration is 15 euro and 12 euro for under 18’s and senior citizens.
We welcome runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to take part & stay for a drink an some food at Wicklow Sailing Club. All proceeds go towards pilot literacy programme in Wicklow to raise much needed awareness of this issue.
It is estimated by the National Literacy Trust that over 25% of Irish people are affected by illiteracy. Lets make a start in Wicklow to make a difference throughout Ireland!
