Craig Doyle launches The Garden of Ireland Run & Walk Well known TV star Craig Doyle was at Powerscourt Estate yesterday to give leading cancer charity, Bray Cancer Support Centre a hand in launching ‘The Garden of Ireland 7k Run & 3K Family Walk’ which will take place in Powerscourt Estate, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow on Saturday 16th July 2011.
The event will also feature a post-race BBQ and family fun evening with music, a bouncy castle, face painting and more.
All proceeds from the evening will go to Bray Cancer Support Centre. The charity operates a daily drop-in Centre and provides support, counselling and a range of classes and therapies to over 5,500 people annually in the Wicklow & South Dublin areas. We also provide a home support for families programme and hospital transport service and work in partnership with the HSE and other relevant organisations.
