The Tara Dawn Run is a unique event held on the mystic Hill of Tara, Co. Meath on the 18th of June 2011, the Saturday just before the Summer Solstice in aid of the Children’s Medical & Research Foundation at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin. Runners and walkers of all abilities and levels of fitness participate in the fun event over a 4km cross country circuit of Tara. What makes the event unique is that the action commences at 4:00am, this adding to the sense of achievement for all present.
