Several US based athletes produced tremendous results over the weekend. Jordan Neil (North Down AC) is obviously thriving since moving from McNeese to East Carolina. Earlier he dipped under 8 minutes for 3,000m and followed up this weekend with a huge new PB for 1,500m. Competing in the Florida Relays he finished second in a time of 3:43.43, well inside his previous best of 3:49.21.
Craig Murphy (Togher AC) finished second in the 5,000m at the Colonial Relays in a time of 14:08.40 to knock over 20 seconds off his previous best of 14:28.55.
Hollie Knight (Finn Valley AC) set a new PB for 1,500m when whe won at the Auburn Classic in a time of 4:26.68.
