5 Mile Stride & 3 Mile Fun Walk 2016
Join us Saturday evening for our annual 5 Mile road race. A fast 5 Mile course professionally run by an Athletics Club with an AAI approved course. A race to suit the more ambitious runner, or simply for those out to run their first 5 Miler, we welcome all.
We have lots of category prizes which are not usually given at other races. Besides the usual 1st, 2nd & 3rd male & female, we have these Masters Category prizes: 1st & 2nd Master Men & Women O/35, O/40, O/45, O/50, O/55.
Lots of spot prizes for anyone outside of these prize winners.
We also have the coveted Seamus Burke Memorial Cup for the 1st Team of 6 club runners, can be men or women or combined. (the first 6 across the line to count).
Plus this years surprise colour Tech T-Shirt and our goody bag for all runners.
Lots of refreshments including burgers for all competitors!
Enjoy a Saturday evening in the sunny south east, less than 10 minutes from New Ross, with only a fee of €15, what more could any runner ask for!
AAI rules apply and all entrants must be over 18 in the 5 Mile Stride. Don’t forget that we have a 3 Mile Fun Walk for everyone else, entries are €10 online or on the evening.
