Another sell-out? The Lakes 10k race in Blessington is looking to sell out for a third year in a row. Building on the success of previous years and having raised over €55,000 for charity this years race is supporting LauraLynn House, Irelands only childrens hospice.
Entries are filling up fast for this must do race. First organised by members of Lakeshore Striders running club; the brief was to provide a race that runners would enjoy and hopefully raise money for the chosen charity. Being organised by runners, for runners; it was hoped that the event would tick all the boxes for runners. Feedback over the last 3 years suggests this has been achieved and will hopefully continue. The race has a limited entry for competitors comfort and this limit is fast approaching. Famously know for the muffins as you cross the finish line we know the race will go down a treat again!
