A challenging but scenic pre Christmas Run! Just a week to go until the first Lough Furnace 10km run around the scenic course just outside Newport Co Mayo.

From Derrada, the route takes a circuit loop around Lough Furnace, an area of unspoiled natural beauty and a hidden gem for keen runners, walkers and cyclists and finishes with a section of the Greenway trail, just before the home straight.
Entries are still open online and the organises encourage early entry to ensure shuttle bus is catering for the runners (who should park in Newport town). Registration on the day will open at 11.30 – 12.30.
