Why can't I access the online payment services from the office?

If you are using the Internet at work, your connection to the web may be on a network that operates behind a firewall. A firewall is a security system that shields your office network from outside users on the Internet and may not allow you to complete your transaction.
In this case, you should contact your system administrator to check your access to your company network.

The system tells me my shopping cart is empty!

This is usually a security issue arising from the setup of the workstation or network you are trying to access the payment page from. It is normally best rectified by trying either a different workstation or using a PC attached to another network or your home PC. Many public sector and financial services employees are blocked from using their work computers to purchase online.

I need more information on an event.

For specific questions regarding an event please select the required event from the Events page: the contact details for the race organiser will be displayed at the top of the page. Most of the events listed on Runireland are organised by independent companies and clubs and not by Runireland.

I can't find the online entry for an Event.

Runireland offers free listings for all events, even the ones that we are not handling on-line entry for. Entry instructions should be on the event page when you click on your chosen race. If they are not, please contact the race organiser using the contact details on the page for that specific event. The race organisers update this page themselves and may not provide full entry information.

I didn't receive a confirmation email of my entry.

First check the spam/junk folder in your email to see if your race confirmation email was filed there. Automatically generated emails are sometimes stopped by your network or server, especially if you order from your work email. If the confirmation email is not in your spam folder, click on my account at the bottom of the page: this shows your order history, enabling you to print your entry confirmation If it is not in your history, the transaction has not gone through so please try again.

I received a reference number but no confirmation when I entered

A reference number indicates that you tried to enter, it does not mean you are entered and is not a confirmation number. You need to check the entrant list to see if you are actually entered for the event. Click on the event to bring up their page, click on Enter Now and then select Entrance Search – insert your name and if you do not come up on the list your entry has not gone through so please try again.

I can't access the payment page.

This is usually a security issue arising from the set up of the workstation or network you are trying to access the payment page from. It is normally best rectified by trying either a different workstation or using a PC attached to another network or your home PC. Many public sector and financial services employees are blocked from using their work computers to purchase on-line.

I didn't receive my race number ?

Race numbers are sent out by the race organisers, so please contact the organiser if you have not received your number. Some events operate a collection point rather than sending numbers by post, so check the race page details first for registration information.

Can I enter a few friends in one transaction?

Yes you can. Please ensure that you enter all of the personal details accurately, DO NOT ENTER FALSE DATES OF BIRTH. In the case of a medical emergency, this could prevent the participant from receiving the most appropriate medical attention. It also affects category prize winners.

Can anyone submit running news or events to the calendar?

Yes all news items are welcome and the more events listed the better.
Just follow the two links below-news items and events will be published as soon as our editor has checked them :
Add news: http://www.runireland.com/node/add/news
Add an event: http://www.runireland.com/node/add/event

Can I get a refund, if I am not able to participate or did not turn up to an event ?

Runireland, like most on-line ticketing services, operates a NO REFUND policy regardless of your reason for seeking one. In some cases the race organiser may defer your entry to the following year but this is at the discretion of the race organiser who should be contacted directly.

I did not receive a response from the race organiser.

If you do not get a response from the Race Organiser please check if the information you are requesting is already on the event page on Runireland. If not please try the race organiser's number again: this is the only contact Runireland would have so it is unlikely that we can be of further help.

What credit cards are accepted?

Visa, Mastercard and Laser
