CRC announce sponsorship of pro triathlete Bryan Keane

Irishman aiming for London 2012 Olympics

Chain Reaction Cycles are very happy to announce our sponsorship of Irish professional triathlete Bryan Keane for the 2011 season.

Bryan will compete on the European circuit season in June, before taking part in a number of World Cup and World Series races later in the summer as he chases Olympic Qualification points for London 2012.

The new partnership will see Bryan riding a custom Vitus Vitesse carbon road bike, as well as receiving CRC’s renowned support and mechanical back-up.

During a recent visit to CRC headquarters, Bryan spoke of his delight at the new deal:

“Chain Reaction Cycles have big plans for triathlon and it’s great to have the support of such an established company. This season is going to be really exciting for both of us as they’ll be involved in a number of my international races this year.”

Bryan had a major bike-accident last September but said he is returning to full fitness and is almost ready to race again:

“London 2012 is still very much my goal. Being out for the last six months has allowed me work on areas I wouldn’t usually get the chance to focus on. Although I wasn’t racing, I used the lay-off to work hard in other areas.”

Following a photo and video shoot at the company’s state-of-the-art photography studio, Bryan was taken on the ‘CRC Tour’:

“The tour of the warehouse was amazing – to see packages heading off all over the world gives you an idea of the scale of their operations, it’s a bit like Santa’s workshop,” Bryan joked.

We’ll be keeping you up-to-date with Bryan’s news and results on the Chain Reaction Cycles website throughout the year.
