DESCRIPTION:Race hosted by Riverstick Kinsale AC\, Kinsale Triathlon Club\, Kinsale Community School.\n\n\n\nThe race is set in beautiful Kinsale on a fast course that has been officially measured and is sure to be a venue for PBs with a second 5 mile net downhill and limited elevation throughout. \n​We would be delighted if you could join us for the inaugral event and come to enjoy the hospitality that Kinsale has to offer. \n​Entries available now. For enquiries about limited elite entries please contact us. \n\nWe welcome athletes of ALL ability levels who wish to run the classic 10 mile distance in a beautiful setting.  \n​Race Start and Finish will be based at Kinsale Community School \n​Prizes; \n1st 5 Male\, 1st 5 Female \n1st Age categories in M/F (40\, 45\, 50\, 55\, 60\, 65\, 70) \n1st Wheelchair M/F \n​Unfortunately we cannot offer any refunds on race entry fee. In addition we cannot facilitate transfer of race entry to another athlete or to the following year. We appreciate your understanding of this. \n​Over 18 years old only are permitted to enter the race.​ \nRace entry is through our partners at the following website www.njuko.net/kinsale-10m \nEntry Fee 25 euro (plus 1.25 processing fee). \nRace T shirt and post-race refreshments provided for all participants. \nChip-timing is being provided by core timing \nThis event is an Athletics Ireland event and governed by the licence rules of Athletics Ireland. Get yourself on Santa’s good list this year by joining the Kinsale Triathlon Club’s Santa Dash 5k on Sunday 9th December. This annual fun run will be raising much-needed funds for the Cork charity ‘Cork Penny Dinners’. \nGet out with your family and friends for a fun day in the gorgeous seaside town of Kinsale. Dressed in your Christmas fancy dress and running along a scenic 5k route that meanders its way around the historic streets of Kinsale\, you’ll be feeling fit and festive as you cross the finish line in the town’s centre. \nChase Santa around ‘Ireland’s Foodie Town’ as you pass cafes\, restaurants and shops. After the run\, you can enjoy a warm meal in the gourmet capital. \nSanta’s elves will present prizes to the first boy and girl under 12 across the line\, the first male and female finishers\, and the first child (under 8)-guardian combination to finish the run together. Santa will also picked the best dressed runner to win something special. Anyone giving Santa’s Helpers/race stewards a hard time will get a lump of coal in their stocking. \nRegistration is at Actons Hotel from 10am to 11am. The race start is at 11.30am in the Town Park. Registration is €10 for adults and €5 for children (cash only). This year\, there’s a special family rate of €30 (no matter how many smallies you have!). Entertainment will be provided by everyone’s favourite\, Cork’s Red FM\, who’ll help you warm up before you start. The big man from the North Pole has said he’ll take some time out of his busy schedule to run with us.
