Entries are flying in for the Irish Runner 5 Mile & Family 2.7k Run that takes place in the Phoenix Park on Saturday, June 17th. This is the 15th Anniversary of the Irish Runner 5 Mile and to mark the occasion Irish Runner editor Frank Greally has invited a number of Legends of Irish Road Running to attend the event.

I’m delighted that a number of our Running Legends such as – John Treacy, Eamonn Coghlan, Catherina McKiernan, Jerry Kiernan, Dick Hooper, Dave Taylor. Noel Berkeley and Pauline Curley- to name but a few- are attending as Special Guests on Race day, “ Frank Greally said. “It will be really nice to welcome back Noel Berkeley and Pauline Curley who won the inaugural Irish Runner 5 Mile male and fermale titles 15 years ago.”

Both the Irish Runner 5 Mile and the 2.7k Family Run take place in the Phoenix Park- with the 5 Mile starting at 10am on Chesterfield Avenue /Furze Road Junction and the Family 2.7k Run taking off at 11am.

It looks like it will be a Special Day in the Park on June 17th. You can still enter the event and get to meet some of the Running Legends. Enter HERE
