SUMMARY:The Fly High Lily Remembrance Run
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nRace Entry Here \nOn 8th February 2020 we are hosting a charity run for Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Ireland and Lilly’s Garden. \nThis run is to commemorate Lily Daly who died at the age of 7.5 due to sudden complications and onset of acute Hydrocephalus. Lily was one of a kind.  She was a ball of positive energy bouncing around with love for everyone. Her enthusiasm and passion was infectious along with her unbridled imagination. \nShe packed a lifetime into her precious short 7.5 characterful and colourful years leaving her mark on everyone she came in contact with\, especially her school friends at Gaelscoil Inse Chor\, it truly was her home from home. \nEven though she was only 7 and a half she showed an empathy that was beyond her years\, caring for others. She is missed beyond measure every moment of every day\, her cheeky smile\, her determined nature\, her joyful outlook on life. \nTo mark Lilys memory and to celebrate her life\, the incredible teachers\, parents and pupils at her school are aiming to create an amazing outdoor classroom by way of a sensory outdoor garden – a way for other kids to explore\, imagine and belong\, just as Lily did. We can see her now bursting with the excitement at the thought of this. She would love the idea of an outdoor classroom in her name. As a family\, it would mean the world to us knowing that Lily’s legacy will live on. \nFunds raised will go toward the outdoor classroom in Gaelscoil Inse Chor and Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus Ireland. SBHI \nStart time is 9.30am and the run will take place in the beautiful surrounds of Phoenix Park. \n5k is the distance of the main event with a 2.5k untimed option available also. All are welcome – young & old\, walkers & runners. Your support for this great cause is greatly appreciated \nENTER HERE

SUMMARY:Dunderry N.S fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Dunderry national school in Meath are holding their annual 5km and 10km road race fundraiser on Sunday the 15th of September at 12pm. The race is a fundraiser for the school but also run in memory of former pupil Alan Cosgrove. This will be the second year the event has run and will follow on from the hugely enjoyable day had last year. \nAn extremely flat course gives rise to the opportunity of a 5km or 10km PB for those  looking to push themselves but fun run/walk entrants are very welcome. \nRegistration is available through www.popupraces.ie or on the day at Dunderry school from 10. Race start time is 12pm and family friendly prizes will be awarded to fastest runners on the day.

SUMMARY:Killeeneen NS End of Year 5km Run
DESCRIPTION:This is the 5th annual Killeeneen National School 5km road race. There is something for everyone with a 1km fun run for children (Montessori to 6thClass)\, a 2.5km walk or a 5km road race. Prizes for top 3 home in male and female categories and also a prize for the first Killeeneen mother and father home. A lovely flat 2.5km loop that is ideal to achieve a PB! \nThis race is chip-timed and a long sleeved technical t-shirt is available to the first 100 entries. Those who have pre-registered online can collect their race pack in the registration room in the school building on the evening of the race. \nTea/ coffee and refreshments are available in the school after the race. Every year this proves to be a wonderful event. \n€18 online entry or €20 if registering on the night (from 5pm at Killeeneen National School) \nChildren’s race 6.15pm\, Family Walk 6.30pm and 5km Road Race 7pm

DESCRIPTION:The Heath GAA are once again hosting the Great Heath Run\, already famed for its post run refreshments. \nThe 10k will run as before but this year there will be a 5k for those looking to run a shorter distance which will also double up as a family fun run. \nOn the day registration opens at 9am and is in The Heath GAA. \nFamily 5k €20.
