DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Joe Duffy BMW Clontarf half marathon and 5 mile. This is Ireland’s flattest half marathon and flattest 5 mile. It takes place in the scenic setting of Clontarf Promenade and Bull Island with views of Howth Head and Dublin bay. The race is contained within an off road promenade and Bull Island giving it unique and relaxing appeal. \nBoth races are open to runners/ joggers and walkers. The flat terrain makes it an ideal race to aim for a PB. The half marathon has pacers to help you achieve your Goal. The 5 mile is all on hard surfaced ground. \nBack with a bang after the Sell Out success of July 2018. We have gone with the same formula which attracted 3\,000 walkers\, joggers and runners to this flat course in July. It certainly has the big race atmosphere! Medals and goodies await you at our unique finish line. \nThis is an annual SELL OUT race. Don’t leave it too late to enter \nMEDALS: We will have a new medal for 2018. DESCRIPTION:Wexford has proven itself over the years as Ireland’s record-breaking course. In 2012 a Guinness world record was broken in retro running!  \nIndividually people have consistently got PB’s. In 2016: Half marathon 68% PB’ed and 10km 70% PB’ed. And 93% said they were likely to do a PB on the course. Wexford is a fast course… \n2018 is our 10th Anniversary year for Wexford (and Wicklow & Clontarf). We have a special collectors medal. It is a Trilogy Jig Saw medal that has spinners in the center of each one. Each medal alone is a unique piece of art. \nAs well as the medal we’ll have some surprises to mark the 2018 race. This is the ‘Wexford Gathering 2018. Return to the Run and Fun!’ \nThe half marathon participants run through the iconic gardens of Johnstown Castle. Half marathon also has pacers catering for 1.30/ 1.45 / 2hrs. \nWexford has proven itself a must do race for quality\, friendliness and atmosphere.
