DESCRIPTION:Welcome to ‘ The Folly @ Cullohill’s ‘ inaugural Folly Adventure Race. If you love the great outdoors and want to have a fun challenge whilst taking in the stunning scenery of Cullohill mountain and the surrounding areas then this is for you.\n\nThe race forms part of a community culture festival which takes place on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th of July www.thefolly.ie\n\n\n\nThe race commences with a 6.5km trail run\, leaving the castle you will head off road and get a chance to absorb the views at the top whilst catching your breath for the downhill. Coming back to pick up your bike\, you will head off for a 24km cycle \, the slopes and hills of Lisdowney and Gathabawn will test your stamina and on returning to the transition area you will have a short run back to the finish line to pick up your goody bag and T-shirt . Here you can have a well deserved rest and a chance to enjoy the atmosphere at the Folly with a huge sense of accomplishment. \n\n\n \n\n\nWith a moderate amount of fitness this race can easily be completed . So get your friends together\, get training and have fun in the preparation . \n\n\n \n\n\nPrizes given for first three men and women home . \n\n\n \n\n\nChip timed by JustRuns Events
