New Endurance Event – Turf Guy Gaelforce Events, Irish market leaders in Adventure Race organisation, are bringing a new and exciting event to the calendar on October 30th 2010. The event is the only one of its kind in Ireland and is similar to the ‘Tough Guy’ event held in the UK in January. The event will see competitors cross cramp enducing Connemara Bog, enter the tropical October water (!) and take on the many obstacles put in their path by the organisers. This event will be a mental and physical challenge but will also be lots of fun. No special skills are needed to compete in this event just fitness and the will to make it across the finish line.
The event will be held on the grounds of Killary Adventure Centre in Leenane, Co. Galway. The event sees a large investment in the building of the course by Killary Adventure, such as the constructions of a large tidal pool, the tunnels of terror and a variety of other obstacles.
