The Laois Mini Marathon is now in its third year attracting on average 500/600 participants annually which include top athletes from all over the country. The route is flat with slight inclines and suitable for Wheelchair users and a shorter distance of 5K is marked for those who find the 10K a little challenging. This event affords an opportunity to raise much needed funds not just for the Carers Associaton but also for any local charity, club, school or organisation to raise funds for their indvidual needs.
Each participant who successfully completes the course will receive a medal and their will be prizes for the first Lady and Gent home in the running,walking and wheelchair categories along with some novelty prizes. For more information please Freephone 1800-24-07-24
