Early Bird Discounts Available…. Galway Simon Community was please to announce that the annual Women’s Mini Marathon 10K event will be taking place again this year on the 23rd of June at 11am.
This is the fifth year for the event to take place in Galway and it is growing in popularity year on year to become a staple in the running calendar in Galway. Whilst the event is a Women’s mini marathon, men in drag have been known to grace the route over the years adding to the carnival atmosphere of the day. The 10K is suitable for over 18’s of all abilities from those wishing to beat their PB to those who are happy to complete the course. This event is AAI certified and timing chips are provided. Road closures are in place for the start and finish of the 10K, which takes place along the gloriously scenic Galway Bay.
