Days Adventure Duathlon on March 27th With only 2 weeks to go to the start of Days Adventure Duathlon on March 27th some of the best adventure racers in the Country are lining up to take part in the RUN/BIKE/RUN/BIKE/ RUN event.

Rory Geraghty from Galway who came 2nd in the Gael force 6 last August and winner of the Valentine’s day Duathlon in Carraroe recently, has dotted the line and entered, Rory wont have it all his own way as Paul Mahon 3rd in Gael force is also entered, there was only 40 seconds between them in Gael force so an interesting battle lies ahead.

In the Ladies race Derval Devanny from Westport looks like the favorite, she was also a podium finisher at Gael force and is in great running form at the moment.
The run up to the Glenisland booster at half distance will more than lightly decide the race as the final 2k steep ascent will test the competitors, for spectators this is probably the best place to watch and cheer on the participants.

This Duathlon race is suitable to all abilities, with only a handful of places left sign up quickly @ www.runireland.com

This event is been supported by Mayo county council, Mayo sports partnership, Civil defence an the Gardai.
