SUMMARY:Resolution Run Galway 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Resolution Run 2023 is a fast and flat 5K road race that takes place New Years Day 1st January 2022\, at 10.30  in Galway City Centre. The course routes through the City Centre\, from the Claddagh\, passing Wolfe Tone Bridge \, Merchants Road and the Docks\, and routing back out to Grattan Road and the Prom before a fast finish along South park into the finish at Nimmos Pier. The route passes most of the city’s famous landmarks along the way. The race is AAI certified and there is a superb souvenir gift for all entrants\, Race HQ is Claddagh Hall at South Park\, Galway and race start is beside the park. \nThe route is suitable for runners and walkers of all abilities. It is a very flat and fast course\nPlease note that there will be no changing facilities or showers available. Roads will not be closed for the event\,however there will be either marshals or Guards at all junctions to ensure your safety!. \nPlease note prior to entry  that Over 16s only can enter and that the course will be marshalled for 50 minutes\,and that these entry conditions are necessary for safety and logistics reasons . \n  \nFacebook Page CLICK HERE

DESCRIPTION:FASN 5K & Family Fun Run\, Dundalk \nThe Family Addiction Support Network is a non-profit organisation that provides support and education to families living with the effects of a loved one’s addiction. Set up in 2001\, we are based in Dundalk and operate across 4 counties in the Northeast. Our work is peer-led and over the past 20 years has been carried out on an entirely voluntary basis with no paid staff. \nIn an effort to address a shortfall in funding and maintain our services\, we are embarking on a major “Keep FASN Alive” fundraising campaign in 2021/22.  The FASN 5K will form part of this and 100% of the monies raised will fund our service into 2022.  In addition\, we also hope to raise awareness of our organisation and the assistance we provide to communities in the Northeast. \nEntry fees: \n5k Individual Entry – 20 euro (includes chipped number & t-shirt for first 200) \nFamily of 4 Entry – 30 euro (2 adults chipped / 2 U16 Non chipped – No T-shirt) \n  \nFor more information about us please visit our website www.fasn.ie\, talk to us by phone on 042 935S251 or call to the FASN Centre in Dundalk.
