DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the most scenic and challenging 10 mile off-road runs anywhere! \nThe route takes you deep into rugged west Cork\, following a section of the world-renowned Sheep’s Head Way. \nThe mountainous route has an elevation gain of close to 500 metres\, following minor roadways\, laneways and mountain paths as it climbs to bring you along the top of the ridge of the Sheep’s Head Peninsula. \nThe Glanlough Loop route owes its name to the Glanlough Lake you descend and circle along the way\, you are surrounded by spectacular mountain\, coastal and sea views abound on all sides. \nBeginning and finishing at the Tin Pub in Ahakista\, walkers depart at 9.30am\, with runners starting two hours later at 11.30am. \nThere will be water stations on the route with light refreshments in the Tin Pub garden post-race. \n  \nRegister Now CLICK HERE

The run is mostly off road and will take you through scenic woodland countryside and around the beautiful Roundwood Reservoir. DESCRIPTION:An EPIC Mountain running event in the Derryveagh Mountains in Donegal. The Seven Sisters Skyline Ireland – 55km with 4\,000m ascent Is Regarded by participants as the toughest mountain running event in Ireland\, and the 30k event (2022 edition) was Ireland’s first ever Mountain running World Cup event. \nThe event is held in Donegal\, the most northerly county on the island of Ireland…. But still only 3 hours from Dublin\, and 2 hours from Belfast. Donegal is a mystical\, magical place\, which boasts wild rugged unspoilt landscapes\, and an incredible coastline with some of the most spectacular views in Europe. Donegal was voted ‘Coolest place on the planet’ by National Geographic in 2017\, and for good reason…. \nJourneying Northwest along sleepy roads that cut and curve through the Gaeltacht\, an area where the Donegal Irish dialect still flourishes\, brings you to the village of Dunlewey\, host of the Seven Sisters Skyline Ireland.
