SUMMARY:Runamuck Challenge 2020
DESCRIPTION:The Muckers option is 1 lap of approx 5.5km and typically takes between 28 and 100 minutes to complete and in March 2020 will have over 50 obstacles per lap! \nThe Serious Muckers option is 2 laps (approx 11km) of the course and should take between 60 and 200 minutes to complete\nEach lap will take in many different obstacles and challenges. These will include various bale “jumps”\, climbs and crawls under and over nets\, super slides including into Cooolcarrigan lake\, pontoon bridges\, tyres\, various ditch and rope hauls and other water and land challenges! \nOur obstacles are designed to be “doable” by almost everyone but if you are not comfortable to do any obstacle then you will not be obliged to do so. \nWe are continually making improvements so expect some great fun with more new obstacles at our next event in March 2020! \n \nWatch the event video HERE \n \n★★★★★ \n“Just back to Cork after completing my first ever runamuck . DESCRIPTION:Ballinbranna 5km Fun Run is located just a few minutes from Carlow town in the picturesque village of Ballinbranna and the surrounding area. The run will take place on a loop\, on quiet country roads\, in a scenic location. Chip timing is being provided by Just Runs Events while there is also a fun element\, including novelty finishes\, for families. All abilities are catered for and we look forward to welcoming all participants. Registration is from 9:30am in the Ballinbranna GAA clubhouse. Medals will be awarded to the first 200 registered and refreshments will be served at the end of the race. All proceeds raised will be going to Ballinbranna National School. And the course is laid out in long straight flat lines making it safer and more ‘racer’ friendly. \nThere are two distances to suit all levels of fitness. A 5km single lap or a 10km double lap. The course is a single loop starting and finishing beside Clanna Gael GAA club. Entries for the first year are limited to 1\,000 so don’t leave it too late to enter! This is an annual SELL OUT race.

DESCRIPTION:**This event has been cancelled due to COVID19 restrictions** \nInis Iron Meáin is the original Island road race which continues to impress runners year after year! This event has been so successful for the past 15 years that it has inspired many other communities to stage similar events. ‘Lá an 10K’ is a major social event for Inis Meáin\, that sees the return of many familiar faces year after year. \n  \nColáiste Naomh Eoin\, the Island’s secondary school\, is one of Ireland’s most successful small schools and this event is key to ensuring that the school continues to thrive thus ensuring the viability of this Atlantic gem. The course is exceptionally scenic with a choice between a 5km or 10km road race or a more difficult 12km route which includes a spectacular beach run along Ceann Gainimh. Our 5K category was added to cater for both novice and senior interests.
