SUMMARY:Mayo AC Foxford 4 Miler 2022
DESCRIPTION:Mayo AC are delighted to present the inaugural Foxford 4 Miler in memory of our friends Ann Murray & Mickey Ruane\, stalwarts of our club who tragically passed away in the last few years.\nThis course is a flat and fast course\, which bodes well for speedy times on the day. This route for this event has sentimental significance for both Ann & Mickey. They competed in a 4 mile race in 2006.\nOn that day there were just 12 competitors. Mickey’s wife Mary was also a competitor\, while Ann’s husband Paddy drove the lead car – a real family affair. Mayo AC chairman John Byrne ran a lifetime best 4 mile time of 19.53. Can anyone smash this record on September 25 th?\nWe are delighted to support the Family Centre in Castlebar\, all proceeds (excluding event\nexpenditure) will go directly to this valuable local service.\nWe are very grateful to our extremely generous sponsors Pamex Ltd\, John O’Donnell’s Pharmacy\, Season Master Double Glazing Ltd & O’Hara’s Bakery.\nEntry is just €15\, a fun community atmosphere is guaranteed on the day!\nRefreshments afterwards in Foxford Sports & Leisure Centre. \nRegister Now CLICK HERE

SUMMARY:Annagassan 10K RUN 2022
DESCRIPTION:As this year is our 10th anniversary run\, we have increased our capacity to make this our largest race ever! \nThe Annagassan Viking 10KM is dedicated to the memory of Noel Carroll one of Irelands finest athletes and one of the founders of the Dublin City Marathon who was a native of Annagassan. The race takes place in the beautiful fishing village of Annagassan. The route starts at the edge of the village it will take you along the sea front\, then into the rural country side of Salterstown\, back along the coast within feet of the waters edge with the stunning backdrop of the Mourne and Cooley Mountains. A long flat straight brings you to the finish line in the centre of Annagassan Village. The timing of this years race means that the race serves as an excellent post marathon warm down and the relatively flat coastal route offers an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to post a PB! \n \nRegister Now CLICK HERE
