If you’re looking for something unique\, and fashion is your passion\, then you’ll have a field day in Mullingar. \nThe museum at Mullingar Cathedral is home to vestments that were worn by St Oliver Plunkett; a ring belonging to Marie Antoinette; and the mosaic murals in the Cathedral itself are the work of the famed Russian artist\, Boris Anrep. \nWe know Mullingar is a great town. But we don’t really like to brag.

DESCRIPTION:Inishowen ac are excited and delighted to bring to you Irelands most scenic 5k\, the Inish Pharmacy Fort Dunree 5k Challenge in Memory of our beloved friend and clubmate Gerard Doyle\nKnown to us as Ger\, he was a big part of our Club and was involved not only as an athlete but also a coach to our Juvenile members and it brought him happiness to see them fulfill their potential.\nGer was also a hard-working Comittee member and worked tirelessy for the benefit of Inishowen ac. \nFor the first time ever Fort Dunree will host an athletic event such as this and you will be running around one of the most historic forts in the Country .\nlocated 10 kilometers from Buncrana\,Fort Dunree is set at the mouth of Lough Swilly in an area of stunning natural Beauty.It was built during the Napoleonic War(1803 -1815) and remained under British sovereignty until 3rd October 1938.\nThe fort is now a Millitary Musem and one of the top tourist attractions on the wild atlantic way. \nThe course will take you through road and off road terrain and the famous 78 step climb to the summit where spectacular views await. \nThe Fort Dunree 5k challenge will be raising funds in aid of the Donegal Hospice.
