our personalised race numbers so transfer requests must be  processed prior to that date \nNo deferrals to subsequent events are possible \nPlease Do Not allow anyone else to run with your number \n Allowing someone else to use your number in this manner is unfair to those who missed out on the entry limits. \nThis also means you are not covered by our 3rd party insurance which is vital for this event to take place on the public roads and to utilise privately owned land for parking\, etc \nIt also adversely effects the results service we can provide with our timing partner particularly in relation to age group prizes and in the past has given us incorrect results where some category winners have missed out on being presented with their prizes on the day\, etc so Please “Play Fair & Comply With Conditions Of Entry Thanks“ \nIf you allow someone else to use your number in this manner then you will not be allowed to enter future events \nSO PLEASE – NO NUMBER SWAPS UNLESS DONE will be clearly marked and marshalled. \nThere will also be signs at each approximate km & mile intervals FYI \nThese signs are not officially measured and are for information / general assistance only.\nAt each 1/4 marathon point Split Timing will be provided to give you chip timed results including 1/4 marathon splits. \nWhere can I leave my car key or bag?\nA small bag drop area will be provided by the race organisers those who have not access to vehicles on the day but be aware that peak time delays are likely to occur in this area – Items left in this area are to be labelled with your race number before handing in – We will provide labels – Although every effort will be made to keep this area secure\, the race organisers will not accept responsibility for items left in this area and we recommend that you keep your vehicle key & valuables on your person if possible \nWhere will water stations be located & what will be provided?\nWater stations will be provided at 4 locations along the route as well as the finish \nThe following refreshment stations are planned for the 2020 event: \nAs with our 2019 event\, in 2020 we will endeavour to go greener by introducing SUMMARY:Virtual Medieval Marathon Kilkenny
DESCRIPTION:*It is with great regret that we need to inform you that this year’s event has been postponed until 2021. After much deliberation and close consultation with local authorities and Gardaí\, we feel this was the best decision for all concerned. Our primary concern is you\, our valued participant and we feel deeply saddened at having to reach this decision. \nWith the ever-changing circumstances and recent government decision deciding not to move to phase 4\, we feel that it would not be fair to you the participant to reduce your overall race day experience and place your safety at risk.\n\nHowever\, we do have some good news. We have decided to go virtual with the event. We hope you can enjoy this virtual experience with your fellow participants and take part in the fun.

SUMMARY:Grant Thornton Virtual 5K
DESCRIPTION:COVID-19 will not keep us standing still…. The GT5K 2020 is here and this year it’s virtual! \nWe want to keep our workforces healthy and running around the country\, so for the first time in 2020\, the GT5K will run across the whole island of Ireland on the 14/15/16 August. \nThis year we ask you to #DoItForDementia as the registration fee will be split between Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland and supporting up and coming athletes. \nThis year we invite you to register as a team or an individual\, run your best 5K over the weekend of 14–16 August and register your time and watch the leaderboard. GT5K 2020 invites corporate teams\, family teams\, sports club teams or the individual runner to take part\, compete and do if for dementia. \nIn a year where all charities will struggle we are delighted to support Alzheimer’s in Ireland in advocating\, empowering and championing the rights of people living with dementia and their communities. \nThe event also supports the development of young athletes with Athletics Ireland’s junior high performance programme\, enabling them to reach their full potential. \nWhen you register you will receive a virtual goodie bag (received event week) and an option to buy a GT5K run technical running jersey to add your collection – or start it! \nLogistics of registering and recording times:\n\nLog on to https://eventmaster.ie/event/8veF7qTV1\nYou can choose to run as an individual\, create a team for your company or join an existing team\nRecord your best 5k and submit by 12:00 midnight on 16 August

SUMMARY:Quadrathon International Festival
DESCRIPTION:Half\, Full Marathons over 4 days  \nThis is not just another running event\, it’s more personal than that\, the concept of this event is experiencing camaraderie\, lasting friendships\, amazing scenery and unequalled hospitality during this iconic 4 day running festival. \nWitness the scenic Wild Atlantic Way\, run a different route daily along rugged coastal roads in the unspoilt Inishowen Peninsula\, home to Malin Head the most northerly point and steeped in scenery\, history and tradition and experience the hospitality and warmth of both locals and organisers. \nWhether medals are your thing or not you just can’t overlook the Quadrathon Medal\, every finisher of this punishing 4 day event is a true winner and the medal is testimony to that ethos. We would argue that its in proportion to everything else about the event which is bigger and better. \nAthletics Ireland Permit          YES
