DESCRIPTION:Kilkenny prepares for battle! \n\n\n\n\nKilkenny provides the historic backdrop for Ireland’s 5th Medieval Marathon. On the 13th of September 2025\, participants will set off from Ormonde Street (beside the Ormonde Hotel) for the Marathon\, 30K\, and Half Marathon\, and the 10K will start at St Francis Bridge (the new bridge). The route will take in some of the most historic sites in the medieval city before winding out the country roads\, making its way back to Kilkenny to finish in front of Butler Gallery in the heart of the city.
