DESCRIPTION:The 6k run starts in Garrafrauns at 2 pm on the 5th of August and finishes in Dunmore and is an annual event during Dunmore Festival. \nWe have chip timing to ensure this is an enjoyable event for everyone. You can register on line or on the day. It is cheaper to register on line. Registration on the day closes at 1.30 SHARP. \nRegistration Cost\nOn-Line or Sunday (day before the race) registration:\nAdult: €15\nJunior: €10\nLate (Monday\, pre-race) Registration Cost:\nAdult: €20\nJunior: €15\n\nOnline registration closes on Saturday 3rd August at 2 pm. \n\nThere will be a shuttle bus to Garrafrauns leaving from the Square in Dunmore at 12.30pm. Group Warm Up at 1.30pm. The race starts at 2 pm. DESCRIPTION:Dunderry national school in Meath are holding their annual 5km and 10km road race fundraiser on Sunday the 15th of September at 12pm. The race is a fundraiser for the school but also run in memory of former pupil Alan Cosgrove. This will be the second year the event has run and will follow on from the hugely enjoyable day had last year. \nAn extremely flat course gives rise to the opportunity of a 5km or 10km PB for those  looking to push themselves but fun run/walk entrants are very welcome. \nRegistration is available through www.popupraces.ie or on the day at Dunderry school from 10. SUMMARY:Spirit Sandyford 5k
DESCRIPTION:The 2019 Spirit Sandyford 5k takes place on Thursday September 26th.  The race\, which is now in its fifth year\, will be held on the roads of the Sandyford Business District area\, and is hosted by Dundrum South Dublin Athletic Club in association with the Sandyford Business District.  Over 750 runners\, joggers and walkers will take part in the race\, which continues to grow in popularity since it began in 2015. \nTeams of four are invited to enter the race\, and all team runners start together\, with team scores determined by the total time of all members of the team.  Teams will compete to win an array of prizes\, ranging from cash prizes to vouchers provided by Total Physio and the Beacon Hotel.  The race starts and ends on Three Rock Road in the heart of the Sandyford Business District.  Participants will meet up after the race at the Race HQ at Spirit Volvo on Birch Avenue\, where they will be able enjoy refreshments from Freshii\, as well as receiving their race bags featuring a range of goodies from sponsors.

DESCRIPTION:SATURDAY 12th OCTOBER 2019 8am-4pm\nCLICK “HERE” TO REGISTER NOW  \n\n(Early Bird Special…€50 until 31st August)\n\n\n\nWe are delighted to launch the 7th annual BIKE-2-BOFIN 90k charity cycle from Galway to Inishbofin\, with option of a shorter 45k from Maam Cross.   Cyclists are welcome to participate in either route option: \n90k Route…Galway-Moycullen-Oughterard-Maam-Recess-Clifden-Cleggan-Inishbofin (ferry crossing from Cleggan to Inishbofin). \n45k Route…Cycling group regroup at Maam Cross\, where cyclists participating in the shorter route will join the group.  Maam-Recess-Clifden-Cleggan-Inishbofin (ferry crossing from Cleggan to Inishbofin). \nThis event is open to cyclist of all levels and promises to be both challenging and fun filled with the option of an overnight stay on the island of Inishbofin. \nThis cycle is in support of local charity “Voices for Down Syndrome Galway” (www.downsyndromegalway.ie).  Since its inaugural in 2013\, the event has raised €150k\, a staggering achievement for all involved.  This year a portion of the funds raised will be allocated to the newly opened Down Syndrome Galway West centre.  Based in Moycullen village\, it aims to provide activities\, services and support to children and adults with Down Syndrome in the area and their families.     \nRegistration for Bike-2-Bofin 2019 is now open….Early Bird Special Registration Rate of €50 until 31st August\, €60 thereafter. \nFollowing the success of previous Bike-2-Bofin and the high level of interest in this year’s event\, early registration is advisable. DESCRIPTION:*******A decision has been taken to cancel the above event due to the current national situation******* \nMonaleen Cancer Support annual Fun Run consists of a 10k and 5k Run  and separately a walk. It is the principal means of our raising funds to carry out cancer support services in the Monaleen area. \nThe route is on well stewarded local roads mostly with footpaths and a section through a local park. The route is straightforward and not over challenging just enough to be a decent test. \nAs this is also a local fun day\, there is nice spread provided afterwards.

DESCRIPTION:Cleasathon 2020 \nCleasathon is a road race that take place yearly on Inis Oirr. Inis Oírr island is situated off the west coast of Ireland in Galway Bay. It is one of the group of islands known as The Aran Islands. It has an ancient history\, a vibrant Irish speaking population\, beautiful scenery and a tranquil pace of life. The island can be accessed\, all year-round\, by plane from Indreabhán\, Conamara\, by ferry from Ros an Mhíl\, Conamara or seasonly from Doolin\, Co. DESCRIPTION:The Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon\, an annual 10k charity road race\, occurs each June bank holiday weekend in Dublin and is the largest Women’s event of its kind in the world. \nIn 1983\, the inaugural event had 9\,000 women entering and the event reached a record attendance in 2014 with 41\,006 women taking part. The event has grown in popularity as women have taken more interest in their own health and fitness. A staggering 1.06 million women have entered the event over its 37 years. \nHundreds of charities are also big winners. The women decide themselves which charity they will support and many local causes gain vital funds from the event.
