DESCRIPTION:Race Venue/Location: Kilbeggan\, Westmeath \nEntry Fees: \nReal Event – 25 euro including postage of chipped number & finishers medal on the day \nOptional purchase of event t-shirt \nCourse: \nThe race starts on the Moate Road in Kilbeggan at the junction of the Clara Road. This road will be familiar to many as the ‘old N6 Galway road’ which has now been replaced with the M6 motorway. The race will proceed straight into Horseleap village which runners take a left turn bringing the race onto country roads towards the village of Clara. Before Clara runners take another left turn which brings them on the final 2.75 miles straight back into the finish at Kilbeggan GAA grounds just yards from the race start. The course is a challenging course. SUMMARY:The Wild Atlantic 10 Miler
DESCRIPTION:Ballina AC is proud to announce that our 4th annual 10 mile road race will take place this year on Sunday\, August 21st at 11.00am. The race will begin in Belleek in Ballina town and will take participants on a fantastic route through the picturesque Belleek Woods that runs parallel to the iconic River Moy and along part of the Monasteries of the Moy Greenway. The route is ideal for runners new to the 10 mile distance and the timing of our race fits in nicely with those training for the Dublin City Marathon or other late autumn marathons.
Ballina AC has successfully hosted a range of races from 10k to 10 miles and marathons so we can guarantee participants a well-run event. Refreshments will be served after the event.\nEvent details & schedule\n• AAI approved and Jones counter measured.
