DESCRIPTION:Cleasathon 2020 \nCleasathon is a road race that take place yearly on Inis Oirr. Inis Oírr island is situated off the west coast of Ireland in Galway Bay. It is one of the group of islands known as The Aran Islands. It has an ancient history\, a vibrant Irish speaking population\, beautiful scenery and a tranquil pace of life. The island can be accessed\, all year-round\, by plane from Indreabhán\, Conamara\, by ferry from Ros an Mhíl\, Conamara or seasonly from Doolin\, Co. Clare. \nFor Cleasathon 2020 we will have the usual 5k & 10k road race and because of the year and Galway 2020 we will be holding a 20k (2 laps of the 10K Route).  \n     During the route you will get to see some of the iconic beauty of Inis Oírr: \n20k Run: €30 Special Early Bird Rate (available until 24:00hrs on 3rd April 2020) – €50 after this \n10k Run: €25 Special Early Bird Rate (available until 24:00hrs on 3rd April 2020) – €45 after this \n5k Run: €25 Special Early Bird Rate (available until 24:00hrs on 3rd April 2020) – €45 after this \nOnline registration closes at 01:00p.m. on the  29 th April\, 2020. \nOn the day registration will open at 10:00a.m. \nIts a fun day for all the family…..… \nRegister using the following link……. \nSee the website for some of the fun from Cleasathon 2019 https://www.cleasathon-inisoirr.info/index.php \n \n  \n \n  \n \n

DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our annual Dinny Ryan Road Race on the shores of Lough Derg in Whitegate\, Co. Clare! \nThis event has increased in popularity over the years. It is named in honour of a successful local athlete\, Dinny Ryan\, who won many medals for cross country running in the 1950s. \nThis year we are combining our traditional 10km and 5km to bring you a new 6km distance! \nMay 4th 2020 Event: \n6km Road Race/Fun Run \nRegistration from 10.30am in the GAA Clubhouse – race begins at 12pm. \nThe Dinny Ryan Perpetual Cup will be presented to the winner and there will be other prizes and trophies to be won also. \nIt promises to be an enjoyable event! \nALL welcome 🙂

SUMMARY:Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon 2020 ** Postponed**
DESCRIPTION:The Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon\, an annual 10k charity road race\, occurs each June bank holiday weekend in Dublin and is the largest Women’s event of its kind in the world. \nIn 1983\, the inaugural event had 9\,000 women entering and the event reached a record attendance in 2014 with 41\,006 women taking part. The event has grown in popularity as women have taken more interest in their own health and fitness. A staggering 1.06 million women have entered the event over its 37 years. \nHundreds of charities are also big winners. The women decide themselves which charity they will support and many local causes gain vital funds from the event.
