DESCRIPTION:Kinsale Regatta 5 mile is set in beautiful Kinsale on one of the fastest 5 mile courses anywhere that has been officially measured and is sure to be a venue for PBs \n​We would be delighted if you could join us and come to enjoy the hospitality that Kinsale has to offer and enjoy the bank holiday weekend in Kinsale\, lots happening and a great weekend full of family activities. \nWe welcome athletes of All ability levels who wish to run the classic 5 mile distance in a beautiful setting starting at Kinsale G.A.A grounds and going down a beautiful country road looking down on great views of sounding countryside and following the Bandon river\, all the way into Kinsale town centre \n​Race Starts at Kinsale G.A.A grounds and finishes in Kinsale town centre at Bank of Ireland. \nPlease note there is 1 kilometre between start and finish. \n​Prizes; \n1st 3 Male\, 1st 3 Female \n1st Age categories in M/F (40\, 45\, 50\, 55\, 60\, 65 \n1st Wheelchair M/F \n​Unfortunately we cannot offer any refunds on race entry fee. In addition we cannot facilitate transfer of race entry to another athlete or to the following year. SUMMARY:Garrafrauns Dunmore 6k 2019
DESCRIPTION:The 6k run starts in Garrafrauns at 2 pm on the 5th of August and finishes in Dunmore and is an annual event during Dunmore Festival. \nWe have chip timing to ensure this is an enjoyable event for everyone. You can register on line or on the day. It is cheaper to register on line. Registration on the day closes at 1.30 SHARP. \nRegistration Cost\nOn-Line or Sunday (day before the race) registration:\nAdult: €15\nJunior: €10\nLate (Monday\, pre-race) Registration Cost:\nAdult: €20\nJunior: €15\n\nOnline registration closes on Saturday 3rd August at 2 pm. \n\nThere will be a shuttle bus to Garrafrauns leaving from the Square in Dunmore at 12.30pm. Group Warm Up at 1.30pm. The race starts at 2 pm. We are welcoming runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. \nAll participants gain free entry into the festival sports day (please bring bib number to gates for free entry) where the prize giving will be held after the race (approx 4 pm). Sports Day is in the Soccer pitch this year (beside the playground and very close to the finish line of the race). where there are shower facilities for runners. Also\, there will be a fundraising BBQ at the pitch along with bouncy castles and novelty events\, this promises to be a fun family day out. \nAll On-Line Registrations Will Be Entered Into a Draw for €100 sports voucher.\nThe draw will take place after the road race at the awards presentation.\nFollow our Facebook page for an opportunity to also get a free registration @garrafraunsdunmore6k

SUMMARY:The Wild Atlantic 10 Miler
DESCRIPTION:Ballina AC is proud to announce that our 3rd annual 10 mile road race will take place this year on Sunday\, August 18th at 11.00am. The race will begin in Belleek in Ballina town and will take participants on a fantastic route through the picturesque Belleek Woods that runs parallel to the iconic River Moy and along part of the Monasteries of the Moy Greenway. The route is ideal for runners new to the 10 mile distance and the timing of our race fits in nicely with those training for the Dublin City Marathon or other late autumn marathons.\nBallina AC has successfully hosted a range of races from 10k to 10 miles and marathons so we can guarantee participants a well-run event.
