DESCRIPTION:When: Sunday 3rd December @ 1:30pm.\nWhen: Sunday 3rd December @ 1:30pm.\nWhere: Starting and finishing at Doorly Park playground\, Riverside\, Sligo.About: This is a 5km* PREDICTIVE race /fun run. No watches\, Garmins\, Phones\, etc allowed for timing. \nRegistration: When you register you put your predicted finish time. The top 3 runners/joggers whose finish time is closest to their predictive time wins a prize. It means the participant whose finishes 31st has as much chance as winning as the person who finishes 1st. You don’t have to be the fastest to win a prize!! DESCRIPTION:The 16th Fields of Athenry 10km will take place on St. Stephen’s Day\, December 26th at 11am. \nOver the last number of years\, this has become one of the leading road races in the country\, and we aim to continue to improve the event. The race will be held on its traditional route\, finishing under the medieval arch in Athenry. SUMMARY:The Fat Turkey 10km
DESCRIPTION:2017 will be the 8th Fat Turkey Run. All participants are required to enter online. The event last year sold out\, so please don’t leave it too late.\nThe Fat Turkey 10km event supports developing rugby in Suttonians Rugby Football Club (established in 1924)\, with a donation going towards the IRFU Charitable Trust (Irish Rugby Football Union Charitable Trust was formed in 1978 to assist severely injured rugby players in their everyday lives and help to restore their confidence and independence).\nThe scenic route is a challenging 10km course\, commencing at St Fintan’s Church\, Sutton\, going all the way up Carrickbrack Road\, right at the Summit Shop\, right again onto Baily Green Road and up to the Summit Car Park (turnaround and aid/water station) and then back down on the same route.\nParticipant Sign In\, race number\, timing chip\, T-shirt and goodie bags can be collected from 09.30 in Suttonians RFC opposite Sutton Dart Station where parking\, changing and shower facilities are available.\nSign In will close at 10.30 followed by a 5-10 mins safety/event briefing. Participants will then take a short walk/jog to St Fintan’s Church car park which is the start location. The finish line will be on the grass verge opposite St Fintans Church. The race will begin at 11am sharp.\nOn completion of the race\, participants will jog/walk through Sutton cross to Suttonians R.F.C (approx 500 yards) where changing facilities and complimentary tea/coffee\, biscuits and full bar will be available. Prize giving will take place at the club.\nThere will also be a host of family activities at the club with live music\, hot food and full bar facilities etc.\nCost €23 + Reg Fee. The Fat Turkey Event is a fun-filled family day that has been an enormous success over the last number of years.

DESCRIPTION:ERP Christmas Cracker 5km \nSNAP into action on December 31st \nALONE\, the charity that supports older people to age at home once again has teamed up with the Clonliffe Harriers Athletics Club and supported by the European Recycling Platform for the ERP 5km Christmas Cracker run taking place on the 31st December 2017 at 12 noon. \nThe family-friendly fun run is open to everyone – from serious runners to costume wearing walkers and everyone in between. The race will begin and end in Morton Stadium Santry\, with the route encompassing Northwood and Santry Avenue. \nSean Moynihan CEO of ALONE said\, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Clonliffe Harriers once more for the Christmas Cracker run.
