Each races route is a one lap course\, starting in the village\, going out into the scenic quiet rural roads and finishing back in the village beside St.Barrys Gaa clubhouse. Sunday Oct. 7th 2018 \nStart times:\n8K 10:45 am\nHalf Marathon 11:00am\n3/4 Marathon  10am\nEntry Fees:\nHalf Marathon €25 (online entry)\, €30 on race day)\n8K €15 (online) €20 on race day\n3/4 Marathon €30 (online entry ) €35 on race day.\nOption to choose tee shirt size.\nTarmonbarry village in County Roscommon is located where the N5 primary route crosses the River Shannon. It is ideally located in the midlands with easy access for all surrounding counties.\nRegistration is online or on the day registration on the day from 9am\nParking available at clubhouse and off street parking.\nTechnical tee shirt and medal for all participants.\nWater stations on each run course.\nTea and coffee and food for all taking part. \nHot showers and toilet facilities available in the Clubhouse.

DESCRIPTION:What is the date of the race for 2018?\nThe Irish 3/4 Marathon will be run on Sunday\, 7th October 2018 – Starting time is 10.00 am \nHow can I enter the event?\n2018 Event Entry HERE\nName changes will be permitted for free But Only Permitted up to Monday 24th September 2018 \nPlease do not attempt to run the race under anyone else’s number as this messes up results and often prize allocation\, etc \nFuture Entry for this event Will Be Refused to anyone who uses someone else’s number of permits their number to be used by anyone else after 24th Sept changes deadline \nWhat race is being held?\nThe race is a three-quarter-marathon – Distance is 19.664 miles or 31.646 km \nWhere is the Irish 3/4 Marathon Based?\nOur race is based in Longwood\, Enfield\, Co Meath – Location & course map HERE \nThis is and easy 30 mins drive from M50 & M7 and 50 Mins from Athlone \nPLEASE Carpool to Access Priority Parking \nCars with only 1 person will park furthest from Race HQ/ Start & Finish\nDriving Directions to Longwood are HERE\nFrom South & East access is via Enfield (Via M4 or R148) – Go west from Enfield for ~3km on R148 (Direction Kinnegad) & take right turn for Longwood (5km) \nTurn left at roundabout entering village and follow signs to parking and race sign on \nFrom West go towards Enfield on R148 from Kinnegad ( Exit M4 or M6 motorways at Kinnegad) \nTake left turn at big white house ~3km after Clonard and follow road to Longwood.village \nFollow signs to parking and race sign on \nFrom North approach Longwood from Navan / Trim on R160 \nGo straight at roundabout entering village and follow signs to parking and race sign on \nWhat is the route for the 2018 Irish 3/4 Marathon?\nRoute for the 2017 Irish 3/4 Marathon was as shown HERE \nIn 2018 we plan to slightly alter the start of the event to aid race and traffic management. \nStart and finish will be within the GAA Grounds / Race HQ \nTotal climb over the 19.6 mile/ 31.6 km route is only ~88m which is approx 3/4 of the climb in DCM \nWhen do I collect my race number?\nRace sign-on for those pre-entered on-line will be on race day at race HQ between 8.15am and 9.30am. \nRace sign-on will close promptly at 9:30am \nWill there be race medals?\nYES- Details of the 2018 Finisher Medal will be announced in due course \nWhat is the 2018 Race Top?\nFor 2018 we are providing mens and ladies fit quality tees as detailed below \nPlease provide the correct size for somewhat tight fitting tops when you enter – If in doubt or if you like a loose fit then order a size bigger than normal please \nYou will need to take the size selected at sign-on as orders will have been made in accordance with this information provided by you at entry stage \nIf size is not suitable and you wish to change then this will be facilitated post sign-on subject to available stocks \nWe will also be providing an additional running accessory – Details will be announced shortly.

SUMMARY:Lake Region Medical Charity 4 Mile Run/2 Mile Walk
DESCRIPTION:The Lake Region Medical 4 Mile Fun Run/2 Mile Walk takes place on Sunday 7th October at 12:30pm on the scenic grounds of the JFK Arboretum just outside New Ross in County Wexford.\nThis charity event is in aid of the Educate Together\, National School\, New Ross and St Patrick’s Special School\, Enniscorthy. \n \nThe day will commence with registration from 11:30am and events kicking off with the “Lake Region Kiddies Dash” at 12:30pm which covers distances of up to 80 meter sprints for kids from the ages of 4 to 12 years old (kids go free). This will be followed by a 4 mile timed run @ 1:30pm consisting of 2 laps of the park for runners of all ages and disciplines.
