DESCRIPTION:This is the 5th annual Killeeneen National School 5km road race. There is something for everyone with a 1km fun run for children (Montessori to 6thClass)\, a 2.5km walk or a 5km road race. Prizes for top 3 home in male and female categories and also a prize for the first Killeeneen mother and father home. A lovely flat 2.5km loop that is ideal to achieve a PB! \nThis race is chip-timed and a long sleeved technical t-shirt is available to the first 100 entries. Those who have pre-registered online can collect their race pack in the registration room in the school building on the evening of the race. \nTea/ coffee and refreshments are available in the school after the race. Every year this proves to be a wonderful event. \n€18 online entry or €20 if registering on the night (from 5pm at Killeeneen National School) \nChildren’s race 6.15pm\, Family Walk 6.30pm and 5km Road Race 7pm

DESCRIPTION:The countdown is on for the sixth SSE Airtricity Walled City Marathon. Hundreds of runners from right across Ireland and beyond are already feeling the burn as they turn up the gears on their training ahead of the race in Derry/Londonderry on the 3rd June. \nThe 26.2-mile track takes runners along the banks of the River Foyle\, through the busy streets of the city\, across the iconic Peace Bridge\, before twisting and turning through the old streets along the City Walls to the finish at the historic Guildhall Square. Once again they will be joined by hundreds of children in the one mile mini marathon.

DESCRIPTION:Lough Cutra Castle in Gort is the backdrop to this action-packed weekend of triathlon racing in Gort\, Co. Galway. DESCRIPTION:Sunday 6th May brings the 5th Annual Loughglynn Woodlands 5k and 10k Walk/Jog/Run! \nStart Time is 2pm sharp. (Please Note earlier start time)\nEntry Fee: Adult €10 U16 €5 Family €25\nThis year the race will be fully chip timed. \nBoth the 5k and 10k follow beautiful scenic routes around by the lake and back to the village. The 5k is mostly flat\, and the 10k has a couple of nice hills for those who like a challenge! \nPrize giving and refreshments immediately after in Loughglynn Community Centre. The course is measured and marked\, and Chip timed. \nThis year all funds are in aid of Loughglynn Community Centre. \nLast year we had a record attendance\, and we hope 2018 is going to be even bigger and better! DESCRIPTION:  \nThe RESCHEDULED Fr Micheal Mannion Annual 10K Road Race will begin in Clonbur Co Galway and follow the road towards Cong before looping back into Clonbur in a clockwise direction.The course consists of medium climbs.It will be  timed with water stops on route. Course will be marshaled and the event is supported by the local branch of The Irish Red Cross and Gardai with refreshments at the end of the race. Ample parking available. \nFirst Male and Female home will be presented with The Fr Micheal Mannion Memorial Cup. \nPrizes for 1st\,2nd\,3rd Male & Female.
