SUMMARY:River Moy Half Marathon 2022
DESCRIPTION:The course starts and finishes at the Ballina Rugby Club\, Creggs Rd\, Ballina\, Co.Mayo.\nWe’re expecting a brilliant atmosphere as family members\, friends and supporters will be able to see competitors throughout the course. \nThe half marathon route is relatively flat with a few challenging hills along the way. Most of the half marathon will be run on roads on either side of the banks of the River Moy. Just over one mile of the course will take participants through Belleek Woods. There is an excellent trail surface on this part of the scenic terrain\, which is used daily by local runners and walkers in hail\, rain or shine! \nEntry costs €35. If you register before the 13th of May your pack will be posted. This will include\, t-shirt and race number. You will be ready to go and will save you time and avoid collection queues. (overseas registrations will need to collect pack on the morining or race) \nThere will be a late entry fee on race day\, in order to encourage people to sign up online before race day. Also please be aware that race day entries are not guaranteed a technical top. \n

The Half Marathon takes you around the rugged coast of Kerryhead Peninsula\, one of the most westerly points in Europe and a hidden gem of the Wild Atlantic Way . Starting in Ballyheigue village you will make your way along country roads and lanes by the Shannon Estuary. The route then loops back to Tralee Bay with stunning views of Mount Brandon and Banna Strand to its finish at the gates of historic Ballyheigue Castle. SUMMARY:The Tullamore Harriers Half Marathon 2022
DESCRIPTION:The Tullamore Harriers Half Marathon will take place on the 27th August 2022.\n\nDespite the disappointment of having to postpone the previous events due to Covid 19\, Tullamore Harriers is looking forward to an even better event in 2022. \nPrevious year’s races attracted hundreds of runners from all over the country as well as a large turnout of spectators. Year on year there is a huge level of positive feedback from participants who were highly complimentary of the friendly environment\, carnival atmosphere and the quality of the facilities available on the day. \nThe race will start from Harriers Stadium at 11 o’clock taking in a scenic route through Mucklagh\, Killurin and Cloonagh before finishing with a lap of the stadium track. The course is generally flat and is best described as undulating with some gently rolling hills along the way. \nThis race is ideally suited to anyone training for the Dublin City Marathon or simply wanting to go the distance over 13.1 miles. \nThe Quinlan Cup will be awarded to the first club team of 4 men and the Phyllis Delaney Cup will be awarded to the first club team of 4 ladies. \nThis race also serves the Offaly and Leinster Half Marathon Championships. \nEnter Now CLICK HERE

DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\nFrequently Asked Questions\nWhat time are the races happening at? \nThe start time is 10am\, we will be updating start times for all distances nearer the time. \nWhere is the race start? \nThe race start is at St Francis Bridge (The ‘New Bridge’). \nWhere are the water stops? \nThe first water stop is at the first 3.25miles/5.5km and the next water stops are approximately every 3 miles. \nCan walkers participate in these events? \nYes\, walkers can participate in this event but there is a seven-hour cut off for the marathon. \nCan I register/sign up on the day? \nThe only way to guarantee your space in the race is to register online\, online registration is extremely likely to sell out this year. If the event sells out there will be no on the day registration and no ‘spaces’ will be held for anyone. \nAre there any pacers at the event? \nYes\, there will be pacers. They will be announced closer to the date on our Facebook Page. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Routes \nThe routes will take in some of the most historic sites in the city before winding out the country roads\, making its way back to Kilkenny to finish on The Parade in the heart of the city.
