DESCRIPTION:The 2nd Saturday in September every year is International First Aid Day and this year 14th Sept 2019 @ 1000hrs The Irish Red Cross (Kildare Division) invite you to participate in what we think might be Monasterevins’s first half Marathon? & 10K Race \nWhen deciding a location they really chose well\, Monasterevin is a fantastic town to run in whether you enjoy the flat surfaces along the canals or maybe the more rustic trails of Moore Abbey woods there really is something for everyone not to mention ease of access off the M7 motor way at Junction 14. \nThe local division of the Irish Red Cross work tirelessly to look after us all at local runs all year round and we really hope that you all pay it back in spades and support their first International First Aid Day Half Marathon & 1oK Race ” The Medic”. \nBespoke medals for all finishers and post race refreshments.

DESCRIPTION:Start Times: \n12pm – Half\, Full & 30K\n12:30pm – 10K \nKilkenny prepares for battle! \nKilkenny provides the historic backdrop for Ireland’s 4th Medieval Marathon. On September\, the 14th 2019\, participants will set off from St Francis Bridge (the new bridge) at 1pm. The routes will take in some of the most historic sites in the city before winding out the country roads\, making its way back to Kilkenny to finish on The Parade in the heart of the city. The city will also play host to a 30k\, half marathon and 10k\, with all participants arriving back at The Parade on Saturday evening. All finishers will be rewarded with a bespoke medal and technical t-shirt to celebrate the battle victory!
