DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce the BRAND NEW Hillsborough Castle & Gardens Running Festival\, including family races\, a 5k\, a 10k\, and a half marathon! Come and run the inaugural event at Hillsborough Castle on Sunday 18th August 2019 and take the opportunity to race around this unique location! \nThese ROAD CLOSED races will start and finish within the beautiful Grounds of Hillsborough Castle\, before heading out onto the surrounding rural roads of Hillsborough and taking in historic attractions in the local area such as Hillsborough Fort and Hillsborough Lake\, and finishing with a lap of the Gardens before crossing the finish line in the event village. Each mile is accurately marked out with distance flags and we have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you on your way to the finish. \n*PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO ROAD CLOSURES THERE IS A STRICT 3 HOUR CUT OFF TIME FOR THE HALF MARATHON!\nYOUR ENTRY WILL INCLUDE:\nChip timed results \nUnique themed medal \nFree official event photos \nGoodie bag \nCome and enjoy the day with us; we hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:Donegal Half Marathon and Team Challenge
DESCRIPTION:NO ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN ON THE MORNING OF THE RACE. Enter online to secure your place! \n*Special Early Bird OFFER* \nThe full and half marathon races will start at 9.20am on August 18th 2019. \nThere is a Cut-off time of 6 hours for the event\, we therefore do not accept walkers in the Full Marathon.  \nCollection of goody bag and t-shirt will be held at Aura Letterkenny Leisure Centre on Saturday August 17th from 2-6pm and on Sunday August 18th from from 7.30-8.30am. \nRunners will receive their number\, race information\, chip and t-shirt at registration. \nChip accurate times will be recorded for half and full marathon times. \nRunners who complete the race will receive a medal\, chip accurate time and goodie bag. \nThere are a limited number of lockers available in Aura Letterkenny Leisure Centre for €1. \n  \nTEAM CHALLENGE CUP\nWe’re giving runners of all levels the opportunity to team up with two friends\, work colleagues\, family members (or whoever!) and pit their fitness levels against rival teams\, all vying to get their hands on the Donegal Marathon Team Challenge Cup.\nSo\, why not join us on Sunday 18th August 2019 for what promises to be a great team building event for businesses and community groups. Participants can also use the event to raise much-needed funds for their chosen charity. In fact\, we’d encourage charities to get behind the Donegal Team Challenge as well\, by encouraging as many teams as possible to run on your behalf.Change over zones \nEach runner will run 7km\, change over areas at 7km and 14km. \n\nWe are delighted to partner with:
