DESCRIPTION:The next Achill Half Marathon & 10K\, RunIreland.com’s recently voted “Best Half Marathon” & “Most Scenic Route”   race takes place on Saturday 6th July 2019 and is organised by Achill Event Management in association with Achill Tourism\, the local tourist office on Achill Island\, Co. Mayo\, in the west of Ireland. \nThe event\, in its current format\, has been staged in Achill since 2007 and is approved by Athletics Ireland. \nThe Half Marathon race is the centrepiece to a full weekend of events and entertainment on Achill\, one of Ireland’s most popular holiday destinations. \nThe Achill Tourism website contains detailed listings of accommodation on Achill Island as well as listings of restaurants\, cafes\, bars and other places to eat in Achill. DESCRIPTION:Mooreabbey Milers AC are back in Cahir for the 5th installment of the Cahir Half Marathon. Come enjoy 13.1 miles of the Premier county’s quaint countryside on Saturday July 6th at 11 am. \nThis race will start and finish in the shadow of the impressive Cahir Castle. Online entry incls: chip timing\, bespoke medal\, buff\, quality goody bag\, fresh berries\, physio & showers. \nPrize Money: \nSubstantial prize money for 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd male & female. Category prizes o/40\, o/50\, 0/60\, 0/70 male & female. Increased to €500 for 1st male and female\, €300 for 2nd male and female\, €150 for 3rd male and female. Cash prize for 1st female relay team\, 1st male team and 1st mixed team.
