DESCRIPTION:We will be hosting our 24hr event in UL on the 13th/14th April it will be run on a mile loop which consists of a newly laid running track of compacted aggregate. There will be shower facilities available for the 24hrs. Pasta at 6hrs and 12hrs\, porridge at 18hrs\, boiling water\, fruit and treats available for the duration of the event\, floodlit for the night time. \nEvent Options: \n– 24 Hour \n– 12 Hour \n– 6 Hour \n– Full Marathon on either day \n– Half Marathon on either day \n– 18 / 20 Miler as the last long run before Great Limerick Run \n \n  \n

SUMMARY:Tralee Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The Tralee Marathon will take place on the 20th April 2019\, it will be a stand alone 26.2 Mile event. The route will be the original 2013 route (Tralee\, Ardfert\, Fenit\, Spa\, Tralee). The Race Director will be Jim McNeice. \n \n  \nThis is the route for the 2019 Tralee Marathon. The Marathon will start at 9am on the 20th April. It will start outside the Aqua Dome\, heading to Ardfert\, Barrow\, and then onto Fenit\, after which the route heads back to Tralee via the Spa\, the Kerries\, and Blennerville. With the finish line on the Neil Armstrong Way. \n \n  \nThe finish line of the Tralee Marathon is on the Neil Armstrong Way. In 1997 Neil Armstrong made a speech in this area of Tralee\, and as 2019 is the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing every finisher of 2019 Tralee Marathon will receive a bespoke designed Moon Landing medal. The 2019 Tralee Marathon will be limited to only 150 runners\, so sign up quick to get this once in a life time running momento of the 1969 Moon Landing.\nPicture of the Neill Armstrong Way in Tralee.
