We will host the Adult Rampage Run on Saturday 27th April 2019. Many of last years gut busting obstacles will see a return this year\, including the infamous Giant Water Slide\, the challenging Sleive Gallion\, the refreshing Placid Ponds\, the Insane-A-Frame and many other favourites. We will also add a few new surprises to this year’s obstacle line-up\, with more than 60 obstacles planned for 2019!! \nWith lots of adventure style mud runs all across Ireland we are conscious that we need to offer something a little different to stand out from the crowd. We have therefore made our run more than a run and turned it into a weekend getaway that begins with an exhilarating and challenging 5k or 10k adventure run loaded with quality obstacles\, followed by some hot food\, live music and a themed after party where you can rest your tired muscles and unwind with your fellow competitors and friends while enjoying the entertainment well into the night and best of all…. camping! DESCRIPTION:27th – 28th April 2019 will see us host our third “Rampage Weekender” event. This will be the first run of the day\, 10am\, for the ultra competitive\, who want to test themselves against the very best. We have 100 spaces available for this Elite Run. Runners will be timed and will have to complete each obstacle. \nThe Elite Race option is £60\, with the extra money being totaled up and handed back out in the form of cash prizes for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place. The total cash prizes will depend on how many enter the Elite Race. If 100 apply\, this leaves £1000 in the cash pot\, meaning prizes would be as follows: \n1st Place – £500 \n2nd Place – £300 \n3rd Place – £200 \nNow\, there’s an incentive to push yourself through the pain!

DESCRIPTION:The Kings Challenge Aquathlon takes place Saturday 25th May in the stunning Glencar Valley which connects Counties Sligo and Leitrim. Participants will swim in Glencar Lough then run along the lakeside for approx. 1.7km  where they will enter a stunning trail which accents up to the highest waterfall in Ireland ‘Sruth in Aon Airde’ returning down the looped trail and back alongside the lake to finish line at the Glencar Waterfall Carpark (5.5km approx.). SUMMARY:The Beer Barrel Run
DESCRIPTION:The Lacken Beer Barrel Run will take place on 22nd June in the beautiful North Mayo coastal village of Kilcummin\, Lacken. Teams of eight must somehow carry a 72kg beer barrel along a (literally) breath-taking 8.5km coastal route. There’s one rule\, the barrel must not touch the ground! \nKilcummin is best known as the scene of the famous landing in 1798 of the French General Humbert as well as its vast golden strand\, rolling sand dunes and lush green fields\, located on the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way in Co. Mayo. Now the local community wants to make it synonymous with one of the most demanding adventure races in Ireland. \nIt is up to the competitors how they carry their barrel. Only stipulations are that the carrying device must not have wheels\, and your barrel must be secured to it. \nThis fundraising event – the first of its kind in Ireland – will take place on Saturday\, June 22 at 2pm\, supported by Marc Reilly\, partner of J. DESCRIPTION:Race2Glory is a multi-sport adventure race involving cycling\, running and a river run\, taking place on the 13th July 2019 in Kiltimagh\, Co. Mayo. 2019 will continue to see the availability of 2 separate races. The long established “Full Race” (40km in total) course will remain as well as the “Sprint Race” (20km in total) course that was introduced in 2015 and proved very popular. Both courses are divided into 3 routes. If you love the great outdoors and want to have a fun challenge whilst taking in the stunning scenery of Cullohill mountain and the surrounding areas then this is for you.\n\nThe race forms part of a community culture festival which takes place on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th of July www.thefolly.ie\n\n\n\nThe race commences with a 6.5km trail run\, leaving the castle you will head off road and get a chance to absorb the views at the top whilst catching your breath for the downhill. Coming back to pick up your bike\, you will head off for a 24km cycle \, the slopes and hills of Lisdowney and Gathabawn will test your stamina and on returning to the transition area you will have a short run back to the finish line to pick up your goody bag and T-shirt . Here you can have a well deserved rest and a chance to enjoy the atmosphere at the Folly with a huge sense of accomplishment. \n\n\n \n\n\nWith a moderate amount of fitness this race can easily be completed . SUMMARY:Bóthar na Naomh (Cloone) Adventure Duathlon 2019
DESCRIPTION:We’re back again in 2019 for the 7th year of our adventure Duathlon. As past compeitors will confirm\, this is a duathlon race with a difference – both fun and hardship are guaranteed! We aim to provide a high standard race at a very affordable price. The race aims to attract beginner to elite racers and we also cater for families with the inclusion of a 5km Trail-run and an Under 16s 5km adventure race. The U16s race was the highlight of our event in 2018\, we over 60 children taking part (& we couldn’t get them off the water slide)! \nAll participants are also included for food and refreshments after the race and visitors have the option to eat their fill for €10. \nTruly a race to challenge the most competitive athlete and the those looking to challenge themselves…and a great way to start the bank holiday weekend! Hope to see you there again this year…bring a friend as we are aiming for 150 in the main event. We are including Chipped Timing for all the races again this year – based on feedback.
