SUMMARY:Resolution Run Galway 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Resolution Run 2023 is a fast and flat 5K road race that takes place New Years Day 1st January 2022\, at 10.30  in Galway City Centre. The course routes through the City Centre\, from the Claddagh\, passing Wolfe Tone Bridge \, Merchants Road and the Docks\, and routing back out to Grattan Road and the Prom before a fast finish along South park into the finish at Nimmos Pier. The route passes most of the city’s famous landmarks along the way. The race is AAI certified and there is a superb souvenir gift for all entrants\, Race HQ is Claddagh Hall at South Park\, Galway and race start is beside the park. \nThe route is suitable for runners and walkers of all abilities. It is a very flat and fast course\nPlease note that there will be no changing facilities or showers available. Roads will not be closed for the event\,however there will be either marshals or Guards at all junctions to ensure your safety!. \nPlease note prior to entry  that Over 16s only can enter and that the course will be marshalled for 50 minutes\,and that these entry conditions are necessary for safety and logistics reasons . \n  \nFacebook Page CLICK HERE

Set up in 2001\, we are based in Dundalk and operate across 4 counties in the Northeast. DESCRIPTION:All revenue raised from this event will go directly to the Maria Goretti Children’s Respite and Rehab Care Adult Services in Dundalk. \n  \nThe 10th annual Fitzers 5K Fun Run and Walk takes place once more on Saturday February 25th at 11am from the Marshes SC\, Dundalk\, Co Louth. This is the tenth renewal of the event that was inaugurated by Deputy Peter Fitzpatrick as a means of helping local organisations providing vital services. \n  \nThe beneficiaries this year will be Maria Goretti Children’s Respite and RehabCare Adult Services. \n  \nThe Maria Goretti Foundation is a registered charity and is committed to the support of children with disabilities. The centre at Lordship\, Co. Louth is currently a purpose built six bed-roomed facility that operates under the auspices of the HSE and is currently managed by Rehab Care. \n  \nThe Maria Goretti Children’s Respite provides residential respite to 80 families who have children with Autism\, Learning Disability\, or a Physical Disability between the ages of 6-18. Duckett’s Grove Castle and Estate in Co. Carlow will form a strikingly enigmatic and dramatic backdrop for the inaugural ‘Great Duckett Run’ on Sunday 26th of February\, 2023 at 11am.  The surviving towers\, turrets and architectural oddities of this once great estate will create a unique vista for this magical running event. With a beautiful bespoke medal* and great prizes on offer this is surely an event not to be missed. The event is a Fun/Run involving walkers and Runners to raise funds for cancer support services in Monaleen\, Castletroy Limerick. \nThis event takes place from Monaleen GAA clubhouse with the runners setting out first and follows a safe course mostly on foopaths. The degree of difficulty is modest involving mostly level terrain with two climbs involved in the 10km\, no real climb in the 5km. We issue numbers to runners and list their order of completion\, however we do not time runners. \nThe event is well marshalled. Refreshments are provided during and after the event. It is designed to be a fun event while providing a challenge to seasoned runners. \nTickets available through Eventmaster.
